The prevalence of hunger in Latin America and the Caribbean currently stands at 9.1%, the highest in the last 15 years, although slightly below the world average of 9.9%. Between 2019 and 2020 alone, the prevalence of hunger increased by 2 percentage points.
FSH is an active member of PR VOAD, an organization that brings together different organizations that work to help before, during and after a natural disaster (especially during hurricane season) in providing help to the community for its recovery process and the emotional help.
