The prevalence of hunger in Latin America and the Caribbean currently stands at 9.1%, the highest in the last 15 years, although slightly below the world average of 9.9%. Between 2019 and 2020 alone, the prevalence of hunger increased by 2 percentage points.

FSH is an active member of PR VOAD, an organization that brings together different organizations that work to help before, during and after a natural disaster (especially during hurricane season) in providing help to the community for its recovery process and the emotional help.

Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, without any distinction of race, sex, nationality, ethnic origin, language, religion or any other condition. Human rights include the right to life and liberty; not to be subjected to slavery or torture; to freedom of opinion and expression; to education and work, among many others. These rights correspond to all people, without any discrimination.
